Goal: Creating brand initiative interactive activity center for Sanrio fans within sanrio.com.
Problem: When the new redesigned sanrio.com was launched in 2016, the goal was to make site as the ultimate online destination for fans and non-fans to shop and explore the brand experience in one place. Since this section doesn’t make direct nominal conversions, the section tends to be put on hold and it took a while for it to be developed - also, content is not an easy thing to create when you have a very small digital team. As we created a lot of seasonal content we realized a lot of it could be used as evergreen content to for this section. Also, since the site was built on a platform a lot of the original UX had to be scratched.
Project objective: Build responsive interactive activity center for sanrio fans. Elevate existing online brand content to have more permanent entry point for easy access by the fans.
